La Villa de l’étang

Designed and built in part by the proprietor, this 130 sq m house has been constructed in traditional local architectural style. It has been carefully planned to meet all the needs for a comfortable stay.

The house comprises 3 double bedrooms all en suite (shower, wash-basin and WC), separate WC, fully equipped kitchen and large living room opening on to an equipped covered terrace overlooking the pool. It can sleep 8 people but is ideal for 6.

The 5 m x 10 m tiled swimming pool is reached by shallow steps leading down from the house to the pool gate. The pool is open from the start of May until the end of October.

For winter, late autumn and early spring visits, there is underfloor electric central heating and also there is a large wood burner in the living room which provides the comfort and warmth of a log fire.

Distance from Sarlat: 15 mins, distance from river Dordogne: 5 mins

Interior equipment

Washing machine, dish-washer, refrigerator and freezer, electric oven and induction hob, microwave, TV with DVD and wood burning stove. Cooking equipment and utensils provided are all in perfect condition, electrical coffee pot.

Exterior equipment

Outside living equipment for 6 people includes electric barbecue, table and chairs, sunbeds and parasols. There is also remote control lighting for the exterior and swimming pool.
